Authenticating Requests

The SeekMake API uses API keys to authenticate requests. You can view and manage your API keys in the developer portal. You need to be logged in with a manufacturer account to access your keys.

Send your API key in the Authorization header of every request: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY.

Your API keys carry many privileges, be sure to keep them secure. Do not share your secret API keys in publicly accessible areas. Also, use the development base URL during development.

Something not working?

Restart the app completely. These apps only load new tools when they start. Then check that the setup was saved and that the key has no extra spaces.

The key is wrong or was not copied fully. Get it again with Get my key in step 2, then copy the setup again.

Claude Desktop needs Node.js on your computer. Install the LTS version from nodejs.org, then restart the app.
